How are you all? It’s been a while since my last post, so I thought of bringing back a weekly post to keep the blogging habit. Was supposed to write a “Things I Love Tuesday” post for yesterday, but didn’t make it for Tuesday. So, I turned it to “Wednesday Wonders” instead–a quick list of stuff I find wonderful and worth sharing every week. Hopefully I can keep up with this!

Okay, now, here goes nothing!

♥ Tom Hiddleston

Yep, it’s the guy who starred as Loki the God of Mischief in Thor and The Avengers. I found Tom Hiddleston sort of interesting as Loki a while back, but was only drawn to him after seeing a Tumblr post showing how intelligent, down to earth, and polite he is. I watched him later on Henry IV Part I BBC drama and I have to confess I had to stop every 15 minutes or so just to calm and compose myself…and not to mention get myself ready for his next scenes.

Now, I have nothing but fascination, adoration, and respect for this man. More than just a looker (well, at least in my book!), he’s also smart, a great actor, courteous, trained in the classics (and knows Shakespeare by heart), speaks several languages (including Greek, oh my), well-mannered, has a great sense of humor, and has an interesting taste in music and film, among other things. As an actor, he has been a prince, a king, a god, a cavalry officer, an influential American novelist, and ex-RAF pilot. I know no one is perfect, but I swear, this man is the closest there is to perfection!

Okay, I should probably stop fangirling now and move on to the next!

♥ Arts and Crafts!

I have been through many stressful moments these past months, and among the things I turned to for comfort were arts and crafts. I’m lucky to have such creative workmates-slash-friends who share my love and passion for art and handmade stuff. We’ve gone shopping for art supplies, fabrics, and even craft books and magazines, and soon, we’ll be joining craft fairs and bazaars! Because they’ve been so supportive and encouraging, they inspired me to finally put up a craft blog (yeah, yet another blog!) which will serve as my repository of projects, finds, and crafty adventures (or misadventures, if any!). Oh good lord, look at that heavenly toast!

♥ Toast

I don’t know how it began, but I’ve been having this enduring love affair with toast. I eat toast at whatever time of the day, often pairing it with coffee and quick meals like fastfood pasta or soup. I make my own toast in the office, and I actually have some butter, garlic powder, and garlic granules in the pantry. White bread is fine, but I prefer wheat bread as it’s healthier and more filling. I made sugar-sprinkled toast with cinnamon for dinner awhile ago and I’m still not over how yummy it was! I actually want to look for more mouth-watering toast recipes that I can quickly whip up in the office…okay, I think I’ll do that now.

♥ Friendly Fires

Last but not the least, one of the most played bands in my iPod, Friendly Fires. Been playing their songs from Friendly Fires and Pala for three weeks straight now, after my month-long Hall and Oates mode. Their beats are hypnotic, their tunes dancey, and their lyrics beautiful. Enough said. The track above, Paris, is one of my current favorites (and so is the Aeroplane remix of this song!).
