THE BLOG/DOMAIN

I used to blog at my first domain (sugar-sentiments.net), which was inspired by the Filipino word tampururot, which means “sulking or throwing tantrums like a child.” It was translated by my Literature professor as “sentimiento de azucar” in Spanish. Hence, sugar sentiments in English.

Around five years later, realizing that I’ve outgrown the old domain, I chose the-soliloquist.net, to reflect my love for words and self-expression. Although  it generally leans more towards writing, this blog/domain is meant to serve as an avenue for different forms of self-expression such as crafts, photography, and playlists.

After a challenging 2010, The Soliloquist also served as a representation of a fresh start for me. Click here to read about it!
